I keep finding (mostly) keychains and charms that feature Japanese long-tailed tits (A.K.A.: The snow fairy/ Shima-enaga / シマエナガ ) with four-leaf clovers specifically. Is there any story or lore behind this? Is it just aesthetically pleasing? Is there some history from Hokkaido that I am unaware of? I’m super curious! (…and YES- these birds are the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!)
