I am an Indian citizen and I'm about to finish my master's in Aerospace engineering in UK, now I am currently looking for job in other countries as well considering the new immigration rules here. In this challenging job market it is highly difficult to secure a Job with good pay. However, lately I got to know that Japan is inviting foreigners to work there while providing accommodation also Japan is most developed nation and has good demand for engineers (which is what I understand).
– I took a wrong decision of investing so much money on my master's where I will have to pay around Rs 68K per month for my loan repayment
– I have 2 years experience as a Technical Author for Airbus project, considering my experience I can find job here in UK and start upskilling my self and gain some useful network. But I get to stay here only up to 2 years or 18 months in worst case. Also, I am totally hopeless on sponsorship (I can get but highly difficult in this field).
– My plan is to upskill and improve network, if I get sponsorship it's amazing if not my plan is to move to other country. So, I these 2 years which I got, I will start preparing for JLPT as well and start applying jobs in Japan
– I want to know if it will be worth to give so much time for this, I am not expecting huge salary, I am fine with sufficient salary where I can pay my loan monthly and want to eventually grow in field.
– How hard is it to get a job in Japan and what will the pro's and Con's if I take this approach and I want to know if there are better ways and want some suggestions.
