I’m thinking about relocating from London to Tokyo for a tech position at Rakuten. The role is focused on integration and APIs and seems interesting from a technical perspective, but I’m unsure about the overall move.
I don’t speak Japanese yet, but I’m up for the challenge and open to learning.
If you’ve worked at Rakuten or moved from the UK (or Europe) to Japan for a tech role, I’d appreciate any insights on:
