Hello everyone, M26 speaking here.
I’m a chef and I’m thinking to move into Okinawa, not only for cultural love, the beaches and typhoons, but because probably I will have the opportunity to move into another hotel.
I’m already familiar with living abroad, related bureaucracy and difficulties like language barrier and so.
I’d also checked for a long time the steps I will need to take for moving there.
Zaryu card is one of them, but I cannot find any information about one particular detail: obtaining it during a step over. From when I depart It’s almost impossible I will do it outside Japan (Korea, China, Taiwan..) 90% inside (Tokyo Osaka or Fukuoka) then lead to Naha.
How does it work? I need/can collect it at the major airports during the step over (changing airline company, so passing through immigration and checking in again) or I need to collect it directly at Naha’s “local immigration office” ?
Thanks everyone in advance
EDIT: again thanks for who replied.
I add one thing, as I expected it would happen, for who wants to reply now on and for who already did:
I know I MUST make a plan, stick to the plan, collect the visa and THEN worry about phase 2.
BUT. Beside the technical question (that could be useful for who already have a solid plan), it was just curiosity. No more than that.
