Ironic thing is that large part of the “so Japanese, so magic” vibes of the torii pics from this and other shrines come from kanji/kana inscriptions on those gates, despite that part being, essentially, the back side and most of the times saying something trivial, like “Donated by Yamada dental clinic/Kobe Ferroconcrete plant/etc. on yyyy.mm.dd”
