Convenience store Lawson to begin offering parking space to sleep in cars for 2,500 to 3,000 yen a night

Lawson convenience stores in Japan will start offering overnight parking for people to sleep in their cars. The cost will be 2,500 to 3,000 yen per night. They will provide electricity, toilets, and trash bags. This service is to help with high hotel prices caused by more tourists visiting Japan. Lawson plans to use its many stores across the country to support visitors at events in rural and suburban areas.
