Hi all! I'm starting an exchange semester in Osaka (moving there in september) and have a few questions about housing for (male) international students. For reference I'm looking around Toyonaka campus and Ishibashi station. Mainly I'm interested in:
-
How common are furnished single apartments (with mattress, fridge etc.) in the 50k yen range?
-
Are overnight guests generally allowed or is this something landlords are strict on?
I realise any experience will be anecdotal but any advice would be appreciated 🙂 I'm asking since I have the possibility to reserve a place already but it doesn't allow guests and does not come with a mattress, which is not ideal for me

Making a post again? Haha.
My current place is 50kÂ¥ and was furnished (bed, washing machine, fridge, microwave, gas stove). I even had a rice cooker and a kettle. It’s very close to Ishibashi (~3mins). I found it via the website I sent you by pm last time.
I don’t know if it allows guests, but I’m living with my gf for 2 months and we didn’t have any problems.
