Bicycle in Tokyo not worth it?

Bicycle is must if you living in inaka, small city or those laid back regions of tokyo, but living in Oimachi, approx 300m from the station (that has Ito–yokadou, and lots of shops and almost everything I need in daily life), combine at 100m and the Work is "permanent work from home," so no commute either.
I was thinking of getting a bicycle to go to Gyoumu Supaa or Donqi, both of which are 3.4km or 190 yen one way train ride.
Should I get a mamachari just for the purpose of going to donqi and gyoumu as I heard its cheaper than ito-yokadou and offers more variety of groceries meat and other stuff ? i am struggling to think of the ways in which I can use bicycle (maybe gett my sorry ass to go for a ride to stay fit but man riding cycle in Tokyo city is not fun like riding in inaka).

For Tokyo people who live in areas like me, what do you guys think? do let me know if you have any ways in which I can use a bicycle to make my life better both financially and health point of view.
