Hi, I would like to ask a question regarding the points obtained under the "Considered highly reputable by the Japanese government" category.
I know that these points are awarded when holding a degree that comes from a university that is in this list.
However, my case is a bit special and I'm not sure if I could get these points. My Master's is a joint degree among 4 universities, and one of them is in that list. It is not that each university imparts the classes on their own, but students can sign up from any of the 4 universities, and all of them study together (same classes, same exams…).
The diploma mentions the 4 universities, but on the top it says which is the main issuer. In my case, I signed up with a university that is not considered in the list, but the diploma still mentions the one that is included, even if the principal's signature doesn't come from it.
I know this is weirdly specific, and I'm not sure if anyone here has experience with a case like this. But if anyone knows anything related, or who to get in contact with, it would help a lot as I'm looking to move in and this would assure me the 80 points (I'm not yet in Japan).
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I attach a copy of the diploma for reference (deleting sensible information). I'm sorry it is not in English, here is a transcription. But you can see there the names of 3 Spanish universities and a Portuguese one (University of Porto) in a different spot due to being from another country.
