People who have been to a Tokyo Dome concert recently? What was the check-in process?

Hello, Guys. I have a question to all of you, who might know any information regarding concerts in Tokyo, please (esp. at Tokyo Dome)

I am planing to go to Gaga concert in January at Tokyo Dome venue. I purchased the ticket at viagogo website so not at the official website but resale. The ticket owner won the lottery for one of the concert’s dates and sold the ticket number to me in order to print in 7/11.

I have never been to Japan and don’t know country’s rules and regulations about this, sorry.

And the problem is – I am hearing a lot of gossip right now that in order to print the ticket – I need to show ID that matches the info from the original ticket purchase to 7/11 worker and then I have to do the same at the venue – so that my ID matches the ID on the ticket. And I heard that this applies mostly to foreigners.

Could you please advise me if this is true? Would I be in trouble because it’s not my name there? Anybody here had maybe similar experience, please?
