GiGO Akihabara Building 1 to be exact, by the end of summer.
Whaaaat. Wild. Times are changing. Wonder what we’ll see there in the future.

>Taking that into consideration, Matahari might be moving in with its Baa@se brand of karaoke/darts bar/Internet cafe facilities instead,
well that’s depressing. a floor that was exclusively rhythm games like maimai and chunithm is awesome. karaoke/darts not so much.
Glad I get to see it before it is gone…
Really unfortunate, feels like Akihabara is losing more and more of its identity..
Are they not tearing down and rebuilding many buildings in that street in the coming future?
Cure Maid and the nice anime stores around that in onoden will also be gone then if they dont relocate.
Stuff like this just makes me feel like places such as Hey! and Natsuge are on borrowed time.
Glad I played there last November. It’s so sad 😭
Too bad but arcades are dying.
The second Sega/GiGo a block away still exists though, right? I guess its sad to see changes, but it always felt weird to have those two so close to each other, especially in such a touristy area.
