Hi, my digital COE for Japan has arrived. My future employer sent me the email from the lawyer by copy+pasting the whole thing through message on LINE. He says that the email itself is the digital COE rather than a PDF that I received when I first went to Japan in 2017.
My question is that can I paste that message on a Word file and then print it out or ask the employer to forward me the email and print it from there. My employer said that I can show the digital COE from my phone itself. He asked me to take care of these two points below –
1. You need to show this certificate (this email) to an Immigration Inspector with an entry visa for the landing permission at the port of entry. This certificate shall be invalid if the application for landing permission is not filed within 3 months from the date of issue.
2. Unauthorized reproduction of the contents of this email is strictly forbidden. You are permitted to forward this email to apply for visa related purpose.
This now connects to my next question, what about the visa application at the Japan embassy? Can I present the digital COE after copy+pasting the LINE message from the lawyer in an email send to myself, or does it have to be directly from the lawyer to me?
I checked the documents that I need to submit at the VFS global center in New Delhi –

Do I need to travel to New Delhi and submit at the VFS office or I can send them my passport and documents by courier? I live 250km away from New Delhi. Regarding the additional documents part –
◼ For the work visa
✓ Experience certificate
✓ Educational certificate from the last school/university attended.
Is showing a scanned copy of graduation certificate from the University of Tsukuba (in Japanese) enough?
Few questions about the visa application form – https://www.vfsglobal.com/one-pager/japan/india/delhi/pdf/visa-application-form-2023.pdf
Do I need to print it out and fill by hand in CAPS letters or I can fill it digitally too?
What should I fill in ID No. issued to you by your government? I saw that someone filled this one with their Aadhar card number.
In Purpose of visit to Japan/Status of residence writing "Employment" is enough right?
For Intended length of stay in Japan should I write "10 years" as my employer wrote in my COE application or should I write "3 years" to match with my visa type and the length of stay that I initially got offered?
In case of Names and addresses of hotels or persons with whom applicant intends to stay since I'm travelling alone can I put my employing company's name in Name and the company address in address?
In Current profession or occupation and position should I put "Self employed" as I am helping my family business. What if they ask for ITR? I have not filed one. I spent the past year helping my family business and applying for jobs in Japan after returning for a short while.
Do I need to fill out Guarantor or reference in Japan and Inviter in Japan or leave it as N/A? I believe that inviter in Japan needs to be filled out if I am visiting a family member already living in Japan?
I checked the Google Maps review of VFS Global at New Delhi and it seems like people have had bad experiences there so I'm kind of scared.
Edit 1 – I have seen some people submit things like Cover letter, CV, ITR, but this is not mentioned at the required documents list in the VFS link that i posted above? Is that only for tourist visas?
Edit 2 – Can I write my employer's name and address in Japanese starting with 株式会社… or it has to be in English?
