Edit** “this sub has gone to s**t”?? How is this simple, surface-level question a decline indicator? I wanted to ask a general selection of people who are in, have been to, or know about Japan this question, so I came here.
Sorry I didn’t log on to reddit to talk about my minor gf or to have strangers diagnose the 3rd grade teacher who changed the way I view friendship. I’m here to study grad 哲学, not anime boobs waifu ramen katana slayer.
Guys- are you a white woman? Have you been to Japan? If so, did people say you look like Emma Watson?
I swear I’ve read that this happens to every white brunette girl, but I google it and nothing shows up… it’s like I dreamt the whole concept. This is a phenomenon right?
My bf says I look like her but I literally don’t, and he doesn’t understand that this is common comment made by native to white gaijin 😭 she is beautiful and I’ll take the compliment but from a PURELY objective standpoint, I do not.
Please let me know if you or someone you know has experienced this I need to rub it in his face🙏🏼

This sub has gone to shit
Yea, either Emma Watson or Taylor Swift.
YES! Happens to me every day!
PS: I’m a 75 years old black guy with a 60cm long beard.
Have a few white brunette female friends and none of them ever heard that.
Japanese do like their hair and touch it regularly tho…
