I started watching NJPW just today and I would like a few recommendations. For context, I'm starting with WCW / New Japan Supershow 1 to 3, then I'll watch Super J-Cup 1994, then January 4 1995, Collision In Korea, Battle Formation 1996 and then G1 Climax 1997. After searching a lot online I ended up with this short list. I just wanted to quickly speedrun the whole thing from this point on by watching recaps on YouTube or something and then watch every Wrestle Kingdom from 2015 to now (getting the extra context from recaps as well). Obviously there's a huge gap in time there, and so I'd appreciate some recommendations of really good matches that I just can't miss out on, as well as a good place to recap the stuff I'm skipping. Two questions by the way: from my understanding, NJPW's version of Wrestlemania would be January 4 up until recently, but now it's Wrestle Kingdom. Is this correct? And also, does it have a flagship show or more, like their version of Raw, Smackdown, etc.?
