Hello all. A group of us will be in Okinawa for the next couple days. We’re staying at the Renaissance and are looking for recommendations on dinner places that have the sitting on tatami mats experience, bonus if they can make an old fashioned with the snake Japanese whiskey. Or any other unique Okinawa dinner/drinking experiences we should consider. Thanks!

So the old fashioned thing…. The liquor with the snake is called “Habu-shu” and it’s the Okinawan variety of sake. You could try this place, as I know they have it and a lot of single malt whiskey.
