New job asking for the tax slip and recent payslip before offer

Hello,

I am very close to getting an offer but they are asking for proof of income as well as recent tax documents. I slightly increased my income when they asked for it as well as my employment period.

what the best way to deal with this. I know i dug a hole but I needed to get out of my current job.
