As a child in school (中学/ 高校 ) if anyone had to sneeze leave the classroom to sneeze?
We were also told to do this in social settings outside of school. To be polite.
I’m in my late 20s and I’ll still get up and leave a room to go sneeze in a hallway or somewhere where there aren’t many people,
but I feel like I’ve never seen anyone do the same thing, were my school teachers overly strict?
