Travel Advice for Late November Trip

Hello! I will be traveling to Okinawa in November and December (November 16 – December 13) and I am looking for some advice planning my itinerary.

Here are my questions:

  • I'm finding mixed answers about the weather. I don't need nor want it to feel tropical by any means, but is it warm enough during this time that I might get lucky with days here and there that the water will be warm enough for me to go in? I am very interested in SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and would like to get out on a board if possible. Recommendations for best spots for SUP during this time would be great if anyone has any!
  • What areas are recommended if I mostly want to explore on foot or bike? I plan to rent a car, but would like to find accommodations in an area where I can still park my car and then adventure around on foot or bike to find random sights, restaurants, etc. Is Okinawa too spread out for that outside of Naha?
  • Are bike rentals common/easy to find? Like I said above, I would like to do a decent amount of exploring on bike.
  • Are there any skateboard rentals/places I can find an affordable board? Are the walkways skateboard friendly or is it frowned upon?
  • If I plan to book a mini camping car for a few days, do most camp sites have shower facilities? I've only been able to find limited information so far on this.

Thank you so much for any advice anyone can give!
