Where to buy fans for dancing (mai ougi?)

Hello everyone!

I am currently in Japan and in Tokyo right now. Two weeks ago I bought an ougi/sensu at a shop in Asakusa. I was intending to use this for some dance covers, but I've noticed it is hard to open with one hand and doesn't snap open. Do I need a specific type of fan for this, and where would I find these in Tokyo?

I was wondering if there is a structural difference between a folding fan called sensu/ougi and a folding fan for dance (mai ougi?) since I believe they look quite similar.

Examples of dances are the Senbonzakura dance and Kyoukiranbu. These fans look the same as the one I bought, quite big with wide prongs, but these clearly open and close with one swift movement. Mine seems quite stiff.

If anyone can help me with stores that sell these types of fans, or maybe a way I can make my bought fan behave like this, let me know! (I went to the Oi Racemarket which had loads of similar fans but these also did not open swiftly).

I don't have a picture of the fan but it looks similar to this fan.
