Open a bank account with a JP passport that has an english signature

A specific question about opening bank accounts.

My daughter has a Japanese passport and is moving to live in Japan this year. She was thinking of opening a Post Bank account as we had presumed it would be the easiest / quickest option after arrival and registration, however I noticed this on the Post Bank website:

As Japanese passports issued after February 4, 2020 do not have a section for the holder's name (address and name), we ask that you present a passport with your signature in kanji so that we can confirm the spelling of your name. Please note that we cannot accept signatures in Roman letters.

Unfortunately her passport was issued after 2020 and she has signed her name in English.

Does anyone have experience with a similar situation and know if this is going to cause problems opening an account with other banks? (We have also considered Shinsei bank but it seems you need to have been in the country for a minimum 6 months before opening?)
