Japanese Lantern Making

Hi there. I am a papier-mache artist looking to make a large Japanese lantern sculpture. Like Cochin and Akari light sculptures. Would anyone recommend where I can find the paper wire and other traditional materials for this type of lantern? Also if you have any learning resources that would be great. I'm based in the PNW of U.S.
