Hello all. I moved to Yokohama roughly 7 months ago from Spain. I installed all the dating apps, as one does. What I noticed is that lots of the men there openly state they are only looking for Japanese women, so I started searching reddit and lo and behold lots of women who have lived here a while have said the same thing. I also noticed I mainly see asian women x white man couples over the inverse (it seems Japanese men when they date foreigners, date other Asians)
I'm not overweight or unattractive because I match with Japanese men fine, but there is a language barrier often times that makes things fizzle out.
What has been the experience of others?
