JJapan Japan braces for more heat after hottest July on record August 3, 2025 Japan braces for more heat after hottest July on record by biwook Tags:Japan 11 comments *bracing intensifies* In my city, it’s saying it’s gonna be 40c Tue and Wed 🥳 I mean, next year is probably gonna be hotter, so better enjoy it while it’s cool! Hottest so far. Wait for next year’s 51 degrees in Kyoto and 60 in Hokkaido Today has been intense. I try not to think what the future may bring. Was brutal earlier here in Shinagawa, went outside a few min ago and with the cloud cover it doesn’t feel too bad now. Must be Shuzo Matsuoka I have a long summer break, but spending most of it indoors since I cant go outside in this weather. I only go out after 6pm. And I chose this year to move into a traditional Japanese home. Yayyyy. House hits 32c throughout the day. Just bought a spot ac to run 24/7 Some colleagues were telling me it has been that hot before. But I think the last 2 years, the difference is it barely ever be fresh. Just 10 years ago, it was 28-31 in Tokyo with peaks at 35 for a week. This year has been 35 every day non stop. The 30 degrees days are the rare ones. Heard even Hokkaido hit 40 degrees Yup recently in Nagoya it hit 37 😣 Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
