I am recently in the final stages to receive an offer from Nomura for Software Engineering job. I want to know how much of a jump I can get in terms of my current salary. From the little discussion I had with the recruiter, it seems it's going to be a lowball. I heard from a contact on LinkedIn that Nomura doesn't negotiate. Any pointers on how such negotiations go in typical Japanese companies ?
