Speed drying clothes on the balcony.

Moved the outdoor sensor to a shaded part of the 3rd floor balcony. That humidity seems really low, maybe it drops off being off ground level where there’s a breeze.

  1. The BEST thing about summer. Yesterday I finished washing the clothes at 4 pm. Hung it outside. It was completely dry by 6 pm.

  2. i had to stop putting my clothes on the balcony in the summer after i noticed 3 cockaroaches clinging to my towel after i bought it in

  3. Got a late start on laundry today, did two loads starting at 11:00 AM. by the time the second load finished in the wash, the first load (mostly towels) was bone dry. Can’t complain about that.

  4. I live in a 3LDK and have a dryer in guest room but in the winter or when it rains how do you guys dry your clothes?

  5. Does it not get dusty? I tried hanging my clothes on our balcony for 5 hours last year (15th floor), and it was so dusty when I took it back in that my wife ordered it to be washed again and dried inside.

  6. You should check how accurate the drying times predicted by this app are: [laundrytimer.com](http://laundrytimer.com) There’s a recently added “shade” setting to help improve drying predictions in shaded environments, it’ll be interesting to see how accurate it is for balcony drying.
