Just discovered this subforum, and started scrolling through the posts and noticed a trend that with posts where people are asking for help where to buy cheap food or to find menial labor there was a lot of toxicity and ridicule.
Is it because most of the people here are children (in college) thus they probably haven't experienced the world and/or are financially dependent on their parents?
Or is it because they struggled so now they want others to struggle?
Or is it because they want this subforum to be a place for "community" so "begging" posts upsets their notion of whatever vibe they're expecting.
I assume most people here are in their early 20s so I'm not expecting much morally or emotionally. But there was several posts like this.
