I am traveling to Japan from 16-23november, 2025. I am coming with my husband who loves nature, mountains (preferred if covered with snow a little), waterfalls, unique Therefore, I found kamikochi but it will be closed by mid of November. Also, I found japanese alpine route but I couldn't understand how to get it's ticket and how to reach there from Tokyo. Should I rent a car or public transportation and how much will it cost and detail route to get to japanese alpine route from Tokyo. It's so confusing to read so many websites online with route not clear. It's our first visit to Japan. Please share if you have any idea how to that? Also, if you can suggest other places with such scenery and recommend waterfall.

I want to visit mount tate, i don't how it will look like in November, but pictures on internet for general season are good. I am planning to visit shirakawa village too. I am wondering, if we can rent a car from Tokyo and visit these north areas. Also, I want to stay for 2 nights in Tokyo to experience Tokyo life, and 3 nights in osaka (I will be travelling to Kyoto from Osaka-a day trip).
