After 15+yrs in Japan I am considering the move back to my home country (US) or at least how to spend more time with family there.
Has anyone been successful in getting a role that splits time between their two countries?
My hunch is this may be somewhat common for assignments in Asia and Japan. But wondering if anyone has done this for the US/Europe and Japan.
Think it’s obvious, but benefits are that a role with time in both countries would allow me to better build up the network in the US, to enable a better ‘soft landing’ should I decide to move back.
Realize some of these “leaving after 15yrs” posts have been floating around. Guess it’s a common thought…
