I am travelling to Okinawa as an add on to my honeymoon to Japan in October. Planning 4 days to relax/enjoy the beach/eat good food etc. before we travel back to the UK.
Please can anyone recommend where on the island we should stay?
Restaurant/hotel/beach recommendations welcome please!
Thank you everyone.

For some of the best sushi on island I would recommend [Sushi in La Cienega](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Hx6kK6BnfcChJJyp8?g_st=ipc), however if you are missing a taste of home there’s also the [Double Decker Bus.](https://maps.app.goo.gl/BBYimj5JBELQuDo96?g_st=ipc)
It really depends on what you’re looking for and your budget. Onna is a great resort area with some nice beaches, but all the best are up north in the wilderness. Aside from that one of my favorite beaches for snorkeling is [the mermaid’s grotto](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Vzda9mQWLyvYhuYF9?g_st=ipc)
Aside from a few good food places avoid American village like the plague. It’s over crowded with rude tourists and the shopping is blah.
Naha has the better night life in regards to bars and izakiyas one of my favorite is [Wild Geese shooting bar](https://maps.app.goo.gl/pqg2gTRjx13HjAZz8?g_st=ipc)
As always it very much depends on the budget. An extraordinary place is Ritz-Carlton Okinawa (no surprise maybe). They have 3 restaurants: Okinawa style, Italian and teppanyaki. This is a very nice, high quality and diversified set up. No need to praise the hotel obviously.
A special place is certainly Kouri island. The drive across the ocean on Kouri bridge is something you will never forget. On Kouri island there are some nice small resorts and villas.
We went for our honeymoon as well, did Naha for two days for shopping and eating, then relaxed for 5 days at Hyatt Regency on Seragaki island-Highly recommend it! You can also access buses in the area that takes you to American village and local restaurants. If you stay there definitely check out blue entrance kitchen for their amazing tacos!
