Wow, a wonderful example of Japan’s modern slave trade… I mean ” Short-term temporary work visa” at work. Its no secret that companies like this and many more exploit foreigners particularly if they are from developing or 3rd world countries for slave labour and dispose of them once finished with. But apparently its “Foreigners are the problem” smh
It’s kind of interesting how a lot of people attracted by Sanseito’s anti-foreigner politics under the “Japanese First” slogan, are mainly targeting what they consider to be “low-quality” foreigners in the so-called technical-internship program for migrant workers.
The main fact is that factories, farms, and companies like this one aren’t hiring all those workers from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Indonesia, or going one step further and hiring illegal immigrants because they are thinking “*screw my fellow Japanese and forget Japanese First, I’m going to prioritize these migrant workers because I want to screw over Japanese people and help them instead*”.
They are thinking “Japanese First”. Helping Japan by exploiting cheap foreign labor that locals are unwilling to do.
Mendokusaitama.
Well, I guess this opens the if-there-are-illegal-workers-in-Japan-somebody-must-be-hiring-them can of worms.
I think it is time to talk about the other side of the coin: that some Japanese companies are in on the scheme of hiring illegal immigrants / workers and exploit them.
Because this is the reality , life is all about money and thats why to the japanese who dont have enough money then they wont have children and theres a labor shortage which adds to the fuel of needing immigrants but even if there is enough Japanese for replacements this japanese are not cheap laborers so they will still end up relying on immigrants
Ultimately, the economics of a lot of these companies don’t make sense anymore and they need to die. Japan’s initial rapid growth came off the back of a population onus and relatively cheap labor that they were eventually able to spin up into meaningful levels of prosperity. This isn’t viable anymore, so the only way to stay afloat is to engage in a race to the bottom from a labor perspective.
The entire existing system is insidious yet well-designed in a morbid way. And it’s not even a solely Japan propagated problem. The countries from which these workers come from have businesses built around exploiting, coercing, and trapping these people into situations that they cannot escape by “supporting” their initial entry into Japan, levying extreme interest rates that they would never be able to pay off unless they continue receiving salaries in a Japan. Then, you squeeze them until they break, and rinse wash and repeat.
So you have desperate companies that need cheap workers and are willing to dip their toes into legally grey or outright illegal territory and desperate people with no realistic solution other than to keep grinding.
Whatever “foreigner” problems are being brought up by Sanseito and other extremist parties are mere symptoms of the disease that is the ridiculous policies that even allow this scheme to be an option in the first place.
Saitama being saitama…
Slap in the wrist ‘ next time don’t get caught’
Cheap labor influx is the problem. The government needs to be more strict on whom they let into Japan on a working visa.
I can’t really blame corpos, since if they can get away with it, they won’t hold back.
DaiSaitama, a Tokyo wannabe without Tokyo funds. Fortunately for them, there are many “illegal” gaikokunjin to go around. They sanseito in public, but “we need cheap, unregularized gaijins” in private.

Hiring illegal immigrants? Sounds vaguely familiar…
