that’s awesome,I hope to visit kyushu sometime. it reminds me of a ryokan I stayed at in kobe when I went to japan last may, it was an older showa style ryokan with showa period style restaurant, there were old sumo and beer posters all over the restaurant. it was tucked away in a nice little neighborhood away from downtown/sannomiya
I’d love to go to an onsen like this if I ever visit Japan, but I wouldn’t know any of the etiquette and would just wonder around like an idiot.
