Is it considered disrespectful to not bring a gift, and if so, how common is it for people to actually care?
When others talk about my culture for example, they oftentimes exaggerate how much people are really bothered by lack of gifts in certain circumstances because they’re only talking about super traditional people. Is it the same in Japanese culture?
