Hi! I'm going to be moving to Japan next month on a student visa, and I just got offered a remote unpaid mentor/internship that I really wanted. I know that the "PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED" is required to work part time jobs, but i was just wondering if this applies to this internship, since it is unpaid, remote and with a US company! Any insight would be helpful 🙂
