Hi all!
I am planning on moving from England to Australia in the current months on a WHV and doing just under a year there of working/travelling. However, I also want to do a WHV in Japan and I am planning on doing the two both consecutively (i.e. I leave for Australia end of this year work until the end of next year and then go to Japan for the following year). My plan is this: Apply for both the Japan visa and Australian WHV before I leave the UK, as I know I need to be in the country to apply for the Japan one.
Answering questions I feel like people might have:
Why are you doing them consecutively? My girlfriend lives in Australia and is planning to move to Japan at the end of next year, so this way we can be together in both countries.
Why don't you just return home in between? I believe you have to have proof of living and working in the UK for at least 6 months to apply for the visa, so this would mean me having to go home, find a job etc… plus the flight is expensive.
I guess what I am asking of this Reddit group is:
Will I be okay entering Japan from another country + whilst having just done a WHV in another country? Who could I consult about this question? I don't want to ask the Japanese embassy in case they completely shut me down and I wreck my chances of pulling this off.
