We are finalizing our Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo trip. To try to make the best use out of our time, I’m considering having a stop in Hakone from our Kyoto to Tokyo portion. Is that out of the way, too much, or not reasonable? If it’s doable, any recommendations on best things to see in that short trip (with two kids, ages 11 and 8)?
