Going to Japan in late November for a couple of weeks. My Step-dad smokes quite a bit. As much as we would love to get him to quit, it’s just not a thing we see happening.
I know that there’s strict rules about smoking areas there, does anyone have tips and info about smoking rules and etiquette there? How do we find designated smoking areas, how do we deal with it in hotels, anything else we need to consider, ect? He smokes quite a bit in my opinion, but to be fair any smoking is too much for me.
Any help is appreciated.
Going to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka if that makes a difference.
