SoftBank to buy $2bn in Intel shares as it grows US investments

    >SoftBank had agreed to buy $2bn worth of Intel common stock directly from the company, paying $23 a share, with the transaction subject to the usual closing conditions, Intel said in a statement.

    >The investment would amount to about a 2% stake in Intel.

    Is this another demand Trump made to SoftBank after the Stargate investment plan encountered obstacles?

  2. Masayoshi Son has really lost his edge in recent years as if he were on top of his game he would have invested heavily in AMD when it was about to overtake Intel 8 years ago now they are investing in floundering intel that might never get their chip making profitable again.
