Sagawa Express Problem with Wrong Name on Delivery

Hello,

My husband ( Japanese) and I recently moved to Japan. With everything being so hectic and us being pressed for time we decided to order somethings from Amazon Japan. Well… we have been running into some issues with the name on the packages either not being there at all, or a completely random Japanese name. ( Not my husband's nor a Japanese relative, just random. ) We double checked the right address and name was written ( in romaji) on our orders.

So far, it's only been with Sagawa delivery service. We are awaiting to hear back from the main office for a resolution and hoping to hear back tomorrow (hopefully nothing too complex), however I am wondering why could this be happening?

Why do they not have the right name?

What can we do to avoid this from happening?

Would signing up for their "smart club" membership resolve the issue, or make it worst?

Do we have to register our address at an official government office? ( It's a friend's address that there is no formal lease, he just owns the property, but has had previous tenants, but no one within a year.)

Has anyone else experience similar issues and what were the results?

Thank you for any advice. It's been hectic and stressful year.
