Tokyo 5 Nights — One Hotel or Two for Best Exploring? (Oct 21-Oct 25)

First time visiting Japan as a one-bag solo traveler!

I’ll be in Tokyo for 5 nights and want to make the most of my time, including a possible day trip to Mt. Fuji. Would it make more sense to stay in one hotel for the entire visit, or split the stay between two areas to make exploring easier?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!😁
