I've seen a handful of G1 35 recommendation posts, so I thought I'd give a list of matches that I/others liked (I've been updating this throughout the entire tournament).
July 19th: Yuya vs Boltin, Finlay vs Oiwa, Takeshita vs Gabe, ZSJ vs Narita, Tanahashi vs Taichi
July 20th: Boltin vs Oiwa, Finlay vs SANADA, O-Khan vs Shingo, Takeshita vs ELP, Taichi vs Yuya
July 22: Oiwa vs Newman, Tana vs Boltin, Finlay vs Taichi, Yuya vs Tsuji (SANADA vs EVIL if you like comedy only matches)
July 23rd: Takeshita vs O-Khan, ZSJ vs Umino
July 25th: Yuya vs Newman, Tsuji vs Oiwa, Tanahashi vs Finlay
July 26th: O-Khan vs Yoshi, ZSJ vs ELP, Shingo vs Takeshita
July 27th: Newman vs Finlay, Oiwa vs Tanahashi (IMO Yuya gave EVIL his best match, but it's still a H.O.T match that has the regular shenanigans in it)
July 30th: O-Khan vs ELP, Shingo vs Umino, Takeshita vs ZSJ
August 1st: Finlay vs Boltin, Taichi vs Tsuji, Tana vs Yuya
August 2nd: Takeshita vs Moloney, Shingo vs ELP, ZSJ vs O-Khan, Yoshi vs Umino
August 3rd: Boltin vs Newman, Oiwa vs Taichi, Tana vs Tsuji (EVIL vs Finlay/SANADA vs Yuya had shenanigans in it, but they also had fun moments in both matches)
August 5th: Takeshita vs Yoshi, ZSJ vs Shingo (Narita vs O-Khan has shenanigans in it, but its one of the better H.O.T matches IMO)
August 7th: Taichi vs Newman, Oiwa vs Yuya, Finlay vs Tsuji
August 8th: ZSJ vs Moloney (Umino vs Takeshita is one that you'll have to watch and rate yourself, on one hand people love it and thought it was great while other people hate it whole-heartedly. I didn't care for it, but there were some cool spots and there were some very hard shots)
August 10th: Taichi vs Boltin, Tsuji vs Newman, Finlay vs Yuya
August 13th: Shingo vs Moloney, Yoshi vs ZSJ (Takeshita vs Narita did have shenanigans in it, and a lot of them, but IMO it was one of the better worked H.O.T matches)
August 14th: Takeshita vs Finlay (Umino vs Tsuji is another match that you have to watch and rate yourself, IMO I thought it was great, especially the finishing moments, but there are multiple spots that could sour the match for you)
August 16th: ZSJ vs Takeshita
August 17th: Takeshita vs EVIL (some shenanigans, but it's only for the first quarter of the match. One of the best EVIL matches since post LIJ, however it. At not be for everyone)
