hi guys! it's my third time visiting but i'll be going with my boyfriend from america and we'll be meeting each other in japan along with my sister and mom. unfortunately we can't stay as long as we want to but we've booked airbnbs and flights so i'm just looking for validity here on our activities! ill be using the shinkansen to travel mostly and im planning on getting reserved oversized luggage for everyone (gonna be a bit pricey bt its ok.) fyi im a huge anime fan and love collecting figures 🙂
🗼 Tokyo (Aug 22–26) airbnb: near sangenjaya station
• Aug 22: Arrive, check in, explore Shibuya/Harajuku at night if we have time!
• Aug 23: Shopping in Shibuya (GU, Loft, artist pop-up at zero base i wanna go to), Harajuku cuz i wanna visit caspace and kiddyland, then Ikebukuro (Sunshine City, anime/game stores) at night!
• Aug 24: Asakusa/Sensoji in the morning, stop by Tokyo Character Street, visit Akihabara (AmiAmi, Radio Kaikan, Steins Gate store), night stroll around Ginza (Itoya, Nissan Crossing, shopping), or Yanaka Ginza.
• Aug 25: Full day at DisneySea OR disneyland (i haven't decided or bought tickets but i'm leaning way more to disneysea )
🍵 Kyoto (Aug 26–28) Airbnb: near gion
• Aug 26: Train to Kyoto, check into airbnb, explore Arashiyama until night (bamboo grove, cafés, character shops, miffy sakura kitchen!)
• Aug 27: Kimono rental in Gion, Nishiki Market,, dinner (Wagyu hokusai!)
🐙 Osaka (Aug 28–31) Airbnb: near namba
• Aug 28: Arrive, visit a café/shops (Shinsaibashi, Pokémon Center!)
• Aug 29: Full day at Universal Studios Japan! (tickets are booked already)
• Aug 30: Dotonbori food hunt, shopping, night photos by Glico sign, Ghibli store if i can find it!
• Aug 31: Checkout, last-minute shopping, evening flight.
