We are heading from Ginza to Utsunomiya for the MotoGP and have decided to rent a car for the race weekend. I know we could just get the train and rent the car in Utsunomiya, for less travel time and probably lower cost when tolls etc are factored in, but we are considering renting from Tokyo instead as we are returning there afterwards. I’d like to know whether heading to a Toyota location in the northern part of Tokyo would make the drive a lot easier than the neatest branch to our hotel…We drive on the left at home and have quite a bit of experience driving all over the world, but would driving straight from Ginza be unnecessarily difficult and time consuming? Any tips would be much appreciated
