“Bizarre” food in Japan

Ok pretty weird. My trip to Japan is mostly culinary, I want to eat and eat a lot of stuff that for me, are considered rare.

I don't care how weird or nasty it is, I just listed stuff. If you can guide me where is the best place to eat these, and if you need to order a seat or just go there and sit:

1. Fugu
2. Eel
3. Whale
4. Jellyfish
5. Uni
6. Natto
7. Horse (Basashi)
8. Shirako

Basically I want to taste some good and bizarre food/sea-food if you have any recommendations on where to find those. I am going to be in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto mainly 🙂
