How should I split our trip?

Hi! Going with my husband end of November for 14 days. We arrive into Haneda airport, Tokyo, at 5am and leave from the same airport at 7pm.
It’s our first trip here so we’re looking into Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Any recommendations on how we should split our days? Should we start in Tokyo, head to Kyoto/Osaka and then come back to Tokyo for the last leg? Or should we head to Kyoto after landing and make our way back to Tokyo?
