Does this sound like a good plan?

Hey, Thanks for reading, I’m posting here because I’ve been thinking a bit this past week and I’m trying to come up with a decent plan. I think I have one- or at least the solid bones of one.

I’m going to save up about 9-10k for a move to Seattle. Planning to enroll in a community college there, and then transfer to Seattle University as soon as it’s an option. I’m looking to get a law degree.

I’ll fill my summer, winter, spring breaks etc. during school with trips to Japan whenever it’s possible. Also planning to try and study abroad in Japan if it’s an opportunity.

The ultimate goal is to graduate from Seattle U, pass the bar exam, and find a firm in Japan that will sponsor my work visa and I’ll work as an international/bilingual lawyer for them. In an absolute ideal world, I’d also eventually pass the Japanese bar exam so I can practice in both countries and be even more valuable. (I’d graduate 2029, and I’d build as good of a resume as I could for the next 5-6 years before trying to apply for a firm in Japan.)

(And naturally this whole time I will be studying Japanese, trying to get as fluent as is humanly possible.)

By my most optimistic estimations, I’d be able to permanently move around 2035-2036.

I know there’s definitely some other details to think about and iron out, but I just want some input from other people about how this all sounds.
