Hi, I’m a US citizen. I had a COE issued back in 2023 but wasn’t able to submit it to the consulate for a work visa due to a family emergency.
In 2024, my company sent me a new COE, and I was able to apply for a work visa at the consulate. However, I wasn’t able to fly to Japan and obtain a residence card before it expired.
Now, a new company will sponsor me and apply for another COE, which will be my third one.
I was wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and whether this could cause any problems when I get my next COE and work visa.
As far as I know, I haven’t broken any immigration laws.
