Hi guys, I'll be visiting Japan at the beginning of October and I'm looking for advice on my itinerary, which you can see below. I haven't generally added food as I will be looking for restaurants in the area once my itinerary is set (food part is also very important though).
I had to split my stay in Kyoto in two as it was the most affordable solution (I'm travelling on a budget). Also, I wanted to have the chance to stay a bit longer on day 7, just in case the previous days were too rushed.
Day 1 Kyoto
Evening arrival in Kyoto, dinner in Pontocho alley and a bit of Gion exploring
Day 2 Kyoto
Higashiyama-Gion exploring:
