Tossing up between two areas to stay in Nagoya. Probably splitting hairs here but figured I may as well ask and see anyone's thoughts.
One hotel is in Sakae right near Oasis 21 and the other is a block from Nagoya station.
Of those two areas, which would have the liveliest vibe at street level?
First time in Nagoya so not familiar with it but from travel elsewhere around Japan I know that areas around train stations can sometimes be sterile.
