House hunting around Takao station (高尾駅周辺で物件探し)

As a foreigner I am finding it very difficult to find an apartment around Takao station.
All the places I tried to rent until now (more than 10) refused me for being a foreigner.
I already live in Japan for more than 3 years (in Fukuoka) and I can speak Japanese, but no luck renting a place there.
Any tips, recomendations for real estate agents?

外国人なんですが、高尾駅周辺でアパート探すのめっちゃ大変です。
これまで10件以上申し込みしたけど、全部「外国人だからダメ」って断られました。
もう日本には3年以上住んでて（福岡在住）、日本語も話せるんですが、それでも高尾では全然契約できません。

不動産屋さんのおすすめとか、コツとか知ってる人いたら教えてほしいです。
