Hello everyone, I would like to first start out by saying that this is my first time traveling completely alone. I have traveled "alone" a few times but only as far as getting on planes and taking trains to meet family at destinations, but never actually TRAVELED alone. It has been my dream to go to Japan for a very long time. I love everything about Japanese culture, food, history, etc. I finally have the opportunity to go in November and I'm really looking forward to it.
Just a basic description of my trip; I will be in Japan for two weeks visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka (spending about 5 day in each place). I plan on just doing basic tourist activities like going to see major tourist attractions, shop, and just walk around and explore the cities.
I would love to get some advice for a first time solo traveler and some things to know as a first time traveler to Japan especially. I would also love to hear suggestions of things to do for solo travelers in each city (best attractions, solo event, etc.)
